BROOKE BATTLE PHOTOGRAPHY

JOURNAL

A couple shares a playful and intimate moment on the beach, laughing and touching hands in a candid black-and-white wedding photo.

There’s a reason couples come to me saying, “We don’t want stiff, awkward photos—we just want to feel like ourselves.”

I get it. You’ve seen wedding photos that feel overly posed, where couples look like they’re standing in a lineup instead of actually living in their day. That’s not the energy you want. You want to look back at your photos and feel the movement, the emotion, and the in-between moments that make the day yours.

So, how do you get wedding photos that feel completely natural? The kind that capture not just how your day looked, but how it felt?

Family Photoshoot in tuolumne county

Some photoshoots just have a little extra magic, and my recent session with Lucas, Alice, and their mother, Julie, in Twain Harte, California, was one of them. This spot has quickly become one of my favorites, and it’s easy to see why. With its open meadow vibes, forested backdrops, and breathtaking fall colors, it offers endless possibilities for beautiful photos.
